Once settled in Texas, Chad started his Electrical career in the Industrial Industry as a Journeyman for a Large Industrial Electrical Contracting Company. Through his career, he has gained extensive experience in freshwater and wastewater treatment plant electrical design and installation. In addition, Chad worked in the Instrumentation & Controls Department where he gained invaluable experience troubleshooting, building Control Panels and installing Instrumentation. Chad was job superintendent on many large Industrial Projects in Austin, Cedar Park, Leander and Round Rock, Texas.

In 2007, Chad received his master electrician license and decided to go out on his own. He partnered with his wife, Christine Merrigan, and Merrigan Electric, LLC was formed. We are Certified as DBE, SBE & WBE with the City of Austin, and hold our State of Texas HUB Certificate.
